NB - Must be willing and able to work shifts

  • Position Description - Key Objective

    Salary: R28700.00
    Benefits: Pension Fund : 12% Employer/7.5% Employee
    Medical Aid: 50/50%
    Shift work essential

    To Supervise the Polyfoam plant on a shift on an ongoing basis so as to ensure that maximum productivity output and quality is achieved per shift.

  • Minimum Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Grade 12/ or NQF L3 or equivalent.
    • B Tech Operations Mgt/or NQF L5 qualification
    • 5 year working experience in similar environment

    DUTIES

    • Plan, organise, lead and control the Polyfoam production plant
    • Supervision of production processes and meet deadlines
    • Ensure optimal resource usage
    • Apply Health and Safety rules and regulations
    • Train operators on SOP's and dept. rules

    OTHER

    To contribute to the overall wellness and safety of all employees at Sondor Industries and act as a support to the HSE team in ensuring that systems and programs promote the Safety and Health of our employees and the Environment. To ensure compliance with Legal and other requirements in terms of HSE & our Environment as set out by our ISO standards and procedures, our shareholders and customers' requirements, thereby contributing to the growth and profitability of Sondor Industries (Pty) Ltd. Reports to HSE Officer. The position is a 20-hour-per-week position and payment is cale at an hourly rate.

  • Minimum Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Grade 12/Matric
    • Registered with SA Nursing Council and SASOHN indemnity coverage
    • 5 to 10 years experience in an Industrial working environment in the capacity of Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner
    • Registered Nurse/Dip in Occupational Health

    DUTIES

    • Assesses the health status of employees as per legal and company job specifications.
    • Conducts/ Facilitates wellness education/ awareness training programs
